Desa Sebarra Bersama Polres Sanggau Gelar Sosialisasi Pencegahan Kebakaran Hutan dan Lahan untuk Cegah Bencana

Desa Sebarra, Rabu 2 Agustus 2023. Kepala Desa Sebarra, Bapak Yosep Sudirman, dengan penuh antusias menyambut kedatangan Kapolres Sanggau yang diwakili oleh Kasat Binmas Polres Sanggau, AKP Sukiswandi, beserta tim, seperti Kanit Bintibsos Aiptu Teguh Basuki, Kaurmintu Sat Binmas Aipda Darvin Siahaan, Bhabinkamtibmas Bripka Andri Zunaidi, dan Babinsa Desa Sebarra, Sarinus Jr. Kedatangan mereka bertujuan untuk menyelenggarakan Kegiatan Sosialisasi Pencegahan Kebakaran Hutan dan Lahan Tahun 2023 di desa Sebarra, kecamatan Parindu, kabupaten Sanggau.

Kegiatan sosialisasi tatap muka ini merupakan langkah konkret Polres Sanggau untuk berkolaborasi dengan tokoh masyarakat, tokoh adat, dan tokoh agama dalam menanggulangi kebakaran hutan dan lahan (Karhutla) di Wilayah Hukum Polres Sanggau. Sosialisasi ini sebagai upaya penyadartahuan bagi seluruh masyarakat, terutama yang berada di wilayah rawan bencana Karhutla.

Salah satu tujuan utama sosialisasi adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat agar turut aktif dalam menjaga dan mengolah tanahnya, serta melakukan pemantauan dan tindakan dini saat terjadi kebakaran, agar api bisa ditanggulangi sebelum membesar. Dalam musim kemarau yang sering kali menjadi momok bagi desa-desa di wilayah ini, kesadaran pencegahan dini sangat penting untuk menghindari kebakaran yang meluas.

Kepala Desa Sebarra, Yosep Sudirman, mengungkapkan dukungannya secara penuh terhadap komitmen Polres Sanggau dalam pencegahan Karhutla. Ia juga berjanji akan aktif berkoordinasi jika ada warga yang membakar lahan untuk berladang, sehingga antisipasi kebakaran hutan luas dapat diminimalisir.

Kegiatan sosialisasi pencegahan ini menjadi bagian dari upaya bersama dalam mengendalikan kebakaran hutan dan lahan, sehingga diharapkan masyarakat Desa Sebarra dan sekitarnya akan semakin peduli dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam menjaga lingkungan, terutama di saat musim kemarau yang rawan terjadi Karhutla. Semoga dengan kolaborasi antara Pemerintah Desa Sebarra, Polres Sanggau, tokoh masyarakat, dan seluruh elemen masyarakat, bencana kebakaran hutan dan lahan dapat diatasi secara lebih efektif dan tepat waktu.

Untuk masyarakat desa Sebarra yang belum mengenal peran Bhabinkamtibmas dan Babinsa.

Bhabinkamtibmas, yang merupakan singkatan dari Polisi Masyarakat di Desa atau Kelurahan, memiliki fungsi utama sebagai pengemban Polmas. Mereka melaksanakan kunjungan dan sambang kepada masyarakat untuk mendengarkan keluhan warga tentang permasalahan Kamtibmas dan memberikan penjelasan serta penyelesaiannya. Selain itu, Bhabinkamtibmas juga memelihara hubungan silaturahmi dan persaudaraan, membimbing dan memberikan penyuluhan dalam bidang Hukum serta Kamtibmas, dan menyebarluaskan informasi tentang kebijakan Pimpinan Polri yang berkaitan dengan Keamanan dan Ketertiban Masyarakat (Harkamtibmas).

Sementara itu, peran Babinsa yang merupakan Bintara Pembina Desa/Samudera/Angkasa atau Bhayangkara Pembina Keamanan dan Ketertiban Masyarakat, berfokus pada pembinaan teritorial di wilayah pedesaan dan kelurahan. Babinsa bertugas melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan pembinaan untuk menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat, sehingga memberikan kontribusi penting dalam upaya pencegahan bencana dan kebakaran hutan.
