Desa Sebarra, Sabtu 23 Juli 2022 kepala desa Sebarra Yosep Sudirman bersama perangkat desa didampingi Camat Parindu Darmikus Heri, Bhabinkamtibmas Bripka Andri Zunaidi, Babinsa Sarinus J. dan masyarakat desa menyambut rombongan Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Polnep Sanggau cabang Pontianak yang dipimpin Sumadi Haryoko, S.Sos, M.Si sebagai ketua rombongan (Penasehat Program Study Di Luar Kampus Utama Politeknik Negeri Pontianak di Kabupaten Sanggau).
Terkait kedatangan rombongan Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Polnep Sanggau ke desa Sebarra adalah dalam rangka Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa (P2MD) tentang Pelatihan dan Sosialisasi Pemanfaatan Sumber Daya Alam Ayaman Lidi Sawit Guna Meningkatkan Perekonomian Masyarakat Desa Sebarra.
Pelatihan pemberdayaan SDA tersebut Pihak BEM Polnep Sanggau memberi bantuan mesin peraut lidi untuk desa Sebarra yang merupakan asli ciptaan mahasiswa Polnep Sanggau. Pihak BEM juga memberikan tutorial praktikal cara penggunaan mesin tersebut.
Kepala desa Yosep Sudirman sangat mengapresiasi sumbangan tersebut karena sangat membantu masyarakat ketika hendak meraut lidi dalam jumlah yang banyak sekaligus. “Ini tentu menghemat waktu dan sangat efisien” ujar kepala desa Sebarra Yosep Sudirman.
Adapun lidi banyak gunanya yaitu untuk tusuk gigi, penyapu, anyaman kerajinan tangan dan lain sebagainya (tergantung perajin mau membuat apa).
Camat Parindu Darmikus Heri, S.Sos dengan cerianya mempraktekkan mesin peraut lidi sembari tertawa karena mesin menarik lidi sangat kencang sekali, disitu pihak BEM memberi saran kumpulan daun sawit harus dipegang kuat ketika memasukkannya ke mesin peraut.
Suasana begitu santai karena pihak BEM Polnep memilih untuk datang akhir pekan Sabtu 23 Juli 2022. Dalam rekaman video perangkat desa Sebarra menggunakan pakaian bebas rapi.
