Pemerintah desa merupakan salah satu institusi penting dalam upaya pengembangan desa. Salah satu tugas utama pemerintah desa adalah melakukan perencanaan pembangunan desa yang partisipatif. Di Desa Sebarra, Kecamatan Parindu, Kabupaten Sanggau, kegiatan perencanaan pembangunan desa dilakukan melalui Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan Desa (MPPD) dalam rangka penetapan Rencana Kerja Pembangunan (RKP) Desa Tahun Anggaran 2023.
Pada saat sosialisasi MPPD, Yosep Sudirman, kepala desa Sebarra memimpin dengan antusias. Ia mengajak seluruh masyarakat desa Sebarra untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam MPPD. Melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat akan memiliki kesempatan untuk memberikan masukan, saran, dan kritik yang konstruktif untuk perencanaan pembangunan desa.
Melalui MPPD, pemerintah desa dan masyarakat akan berkolaborasi untuk menentukan prioritas pembangunan desa yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara partisipatif, sehingga seluruh masyarakat akan merasa terlibat dalam proses pengambilan keputusan. Hal ini akan memperkuat kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pemerintah desa, dan sekaligus memperkuat kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya peran mereka dalam pembangunan desa.
