Desa Sebarra, Selasa 26 Juli 2022. Pemerintah desa Sebarra mengadakan Pertemuan Kelompok Kerja Kampung KB membahas dan berdiskusi bahaya Stunting. Sosialisasi ini dihadiri oleh Kepala Dinsos P3 AKB Bapak Aloysius Yanto, Sekcam Parindu Laurianus Yoka, SH sebagai pembicara atau pemateri. Kapolsek Parindu diwakili Bripka Warjianto, Danramil Parindu Serka Eko dan Babinsa sebarra Serda Sarinus J.
Kelompok Kerja Kampung KB (Keluarga Berkualitas) adalah angkah konkret di tingkat desa untuk mempersiapkan generasi yang cerdas untuk Indonesia Maju. Lengkapnya Kampung KB merupakan satuan wilayah di tingkat Desa, dimana terdapat keterpaduan program pembangunan antara program Kependudukan, Keluarga Berencana, dan Pembangunan Keluarga dan Pembangunan sektor terkait, dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas hidup keluarga dan masyarakat. Jadi, dengan adanya Kampung KB di desa Sebarra diharapkan masyarakat bisa mempersiapkan generasi yang cerdas dan berkualitas tanpa adanya stunting yang memperlambat pertumbuhan anak dari fisik yang ideal dan kemampuan berpikir.
Pada pertemuan ini tim Dinsos menyampaikan bahaya dampak dan penyebab Stunting pada anak. Seperti kita ketahui bahwa Stunting adalah kekurangan gizi pada anak sehingga memperlambat pertumbuhan fisik dan otak.
Untuk informasi kepada masyarakat desa Sebarra. Stunting adalah kondisi gagal pertumbuhan pada anak (pertumbuhan tubuh dan otak) akibat kekurangan gizi dalam waktu yang lama. Sehingga, anak lebih pendek dari anak normal seusianya dan memiliki keterlambatan dalam berpikir.
Jadi, maksud kegiatan Lokakarya ini adalah supaya tidak terjadi stunting pada anak-anak di desa Sebarra, maka diberitahukan via media online web desa ini kepada Ibu-ibu yang mengandung/hamil supaya harus memperhatikan pola hidup sehat dan harus selalu cek up kesehatannya secara berkala, serta memberikan ASI kepada bayi agar selalu sehat dan imunitasnya terjaga. Dengan begitu maka Desa Sebarra bebas Stunting dan ikut mencerdaskan bangsa.
Kepala desa Yosep Sudirman dan perangkat desa menyatakan siap terlibat dan memfasilitasi penyuluhan-penyuluhan kelompok kerja Kampung KB terkait pencegahan Stunting, sehingga pemerintah desa Sebarra berpartisipasi dalam program KKBPK (Kependudukan Keluarga Berencana dan Pembangunan Keluarga) yang terintegrasi dengan sektor pembangunan lainnya. Serta, mewujudkan keluarga kecil berkualitas dapat terwujud dan berjalan secara berkesinambungan, sehingga tujuan dari kampung KB untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup keluarga dan masyarakat bisa terealisasi.
