Dusun Riam, sebuah komunitas kecil yang terletak di desa Sebarra, telah menunjukkan semangat dan gotong-royong yang luar biasa dalam upaya mereka untuk memperbaiki kondisi jalan yang mengalami kerusakan. Pada Minggu, 23 Juli 2023, Safes, yang menjabat sebagai ketua kewilayahan dusun Riam, bersama dengan seluruh masyarakat setempat, bergotong-royong melakukan bakti di jalan dusun Riam yang mengalami permasalahan.
Kondisi jalan dusun Riam beberapa waktu terakhir telah menjadi perhatian utama bagi para warga, karena kondisinya yang semakin memburuk. Jalan tersebut mengalami kemerosotan yang cukup signifikan, menciptakan palung mini yang cukup dalam, sehingga membahayakan para pengendara dan pejalan kaki yang melewatinya. Bukan hanya kendaraan yang terancam, tetapi juga keselamatan para anak sekolah dan warga yang harus bermotor jika keluar masuk pasar.
Menyadari urgensi masalah ini, Safes dan masyarakat dusun Riam sepakat untuk melakukan aksi kerja bakti. Mereka berkumpul dengan semangat penuh dan semakin bergairah ketika melihat begitu banyak warga yang hadir dengan tujuan yang sama: memperbaiki kondisi jalan dusun Riam.
Beberapa masyarakat membawa alat-alat berat, seperti cangkul dan sekop, untuk menggali dan meratakan tanah di sekitar pinggir jalan yang mencuruk. Sementara itu, yang lain membawa batu, kerikil, dan pasir untuk mengisi palung mini yang terbentuk di jalan.
Tidak hanya kaum pria, kaum wanita dan anak-anak juga turut serta dalam kerja bakti ini. Mereka membantu memberikan air, makanan ringan, serta menyemangati para pekerja agar semangat tetap terjaga. Semangat gotong-royong yang begitu kental terasa di setiap sudut kegiatan ini, menciptakan energi positif di antara semua yang terlibat.
Kepala desa Sebarra, Bapak Yosef Sudirman, memberikan apresiasi atas semangat kerja bakti yang ditunjukkan oleh warga dusun Riam. Beliau memberikan semangat dan motivasi kepada mereka, menyatakan betapa pentingnya persatuan dan kerja sama dalam membangun lingkungan yang lebih baik.
Dalam beberapa jam, hasil kerja keras warga dusun Riam telah terlihat signifikan. Jalan yang sebelumnya mencuruk dan membahayakan kini telah menjadi lebih rata dan aman untuk dilewati.
